Welcome to the Marks Finest Papers Stamp Shop
 January Blog Hop.

We're doing something different to start out the new year. We're looking back at all the wonderful sets released in 2014. For the next 4 days the Design Team will show you their "Favorite" sets of 2014. Please visit each blog and leave a comment. One person will be chosen to receive their choice of one of the "Favorite" Stamp Sets we have featured.

Please hop along with us! You have a chance to win a "Favorite" Set of your choice! Just comment on the following blogs (don't forget this one), each day for more chances to win! (You do NOT have to comment on all the blogs each day! The names are drawn randomly!) The winner will be announced on Jan. 31, 2015 on the MFP Stamp Shop blog. You can go back and comment if you missed a day. (HINT: The more you comment, the more chances you have to win and comments on the MFP blog count twice!).  The deadline for commenting is 10 PM EST on Friday Jan. 30, 2014.

Let's get started!!

Today's set I am featuring is Roses.  Once I had colored my rose using prismacolor markers, I then lightly stippled some distress ink around the edges before layering and adding some vintage baby brads and popping up over a ruffled ribbon border.  After sponging some walnut distress ink around the card's edge, adding some light green prima pearls, I finished off the card by making my own floral spray in the upper right hand corner.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Have a great day and don't forget to stop by the rest of the design  team blogs for a chance to win one of today's featured sets.

Come on back tomorrow for more FAVORITES!!

Today I am showcasing Chrysanthemum.  I truly love the uniqueness of the flowers and how the set pairs so easily with other sets as well, especially Scenic Selections.  After coloring the flowers with prismacolor markers, I then stippled some distress inks around the edges then added some black baby brads and a die cut butterfly for a clean and simple card.

I hope you were inspired by my favorite today.  Make sure to stop by the rest of the design team blogs to leave some love for a chance to win one of today's featured sets.

Happy New Year!!

Welcome to 2015 everyone!!!  I for one am glad 2014 is done and over with.  Way too many health issues to deal with over the last year, especially the last six months; hence the sporadic blogging as of late.  I am hoping to do better this next year; hopefully.

Enjoy the week ahead of you and thank you for stopping by today.
